What is the Dark Skies Movement?

The Dark Skies Movement is a global initiative focused on preserving the natural beauty of our night skies. It aims to reduce light pollution, protect wildlife, conserve energy, and reconnect communities with the stars.
By safeguarding dark skies, we also protect our ecosystems, promote human health, and preserve the wonder of nature for future generations. Student artists in this exhibition share their unique perspectives on why dark skies matter.
