Fieldmouse Press Opens Submission Window for November 2025

Fieldmouse Press is pleased to announce that submissions will be open from November 1-30, 2025. The independent publisher invites creators to submit their work for consideration.

Fieldmouse Press is an independent comics publisher dedicated to thoughtful, distinctive graphic narratives. We champion work that pushes boundaries, explores unique voices, and challenges conventions in the comics medium. Our catalog features everything from intimate personal stories to experimental visual narratives; books that might not find a home elsewhere but deserve to be in readers' hands. We're committed to publishing comics as an art form, working closely with creators to bring their visions to life with care and attention to detail.

Submission Guidelines

Fieldmouse Press is currently accepting:

●       Graphic novels and longer projects for the 2028 and 2029 publishing seasons

●       Shorter projects (under 54 pages) for publication on an as-permitted basis, potentially in 2026 or 2027

How to Submit

Creators should send a low-resolution PDF containing at least 10 completed comics pages to submissions@fieldmouse.press, accompanied by a cover letter. Please note that Fieldmouse Press does not review scripts or proposals without finished artwork and does not provide artist-writer pairing services.

Fieldmouse Press seeks work that aligns with its distinctive publishing vision. Prospective submitters are strongly encouraged to review the press's existing catalog to understand the aesthetic and editorial direction of the program. Work that would be better suited to mainstream comics publishers such as Image or Dark Horse may not be the right fit for Fieldmouse Press.
