10th Annual Rural County Photo Contest

The Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC) is pleased to announce their Tenth Annual Rural County Photo Contest is now open for submissions. Photographers from across California are invited to submit original images that capture the beauty, diversity, and spirit of rural life within RCRC’s 40 member counties. From striking landscapes and unique architecture to community events and everyday rural scenes, this contest seeks to highlight the unique charm of rural California through photography.

The submission period runs from July 1 through July 31, 2026. The top entries will receive Amazon gift cards of $300 (first place), $150 (second place), and $75 (third place). The winning photograph will be displayed prominently during the September RCRC Board of Directors Meeting and featured across RCRC’s communications platforms.

Submissions can be made online at rcrcnet.org or emailed directly to photocontest@rcrcnet.org. All entries must include the location where the photo was taken (including the county), the photographer’s full name, and an email address.
