Hidden in Plain Sight

Artists are encouraged to submit pieces that address a broad interpretation of the theme of "Hidden in Plain Sight: The Small Yet Remarkable Details of Nevada City". Some examples to consider are ornate ironwork, historic plaques, brick patterns, hand-painted signs, century-old doors, or even the way light hits a particular street corner.

City Hall Art Meets the Public (CHAMP) Gallery is an exhibition space within the entryway halls of City Hall on Broad Street in Nevada City, CA. Nevada City is a thriving small town with a vibrant arts culture. The Nevada City Public Arts Commission requests submittals for the gallery on a triannual basis based on a theme determined by the commission.
